Here's Judy waiting for the Aquabus to come and pick us up. It's $5 per person (return)- May 2013
The city of Vancouver was once named Granville. Granville Island is a short ferry ride (Aquabus) from Vancouver or a short ride across the Granville Street Bridge. You will find markets, craft shops restaurants and a theatre. Not too mention a Marina. Nice, pleasant walk around the island. Artisan cottage-industry foods and unique handmade crafts are abound. Worth the visit even with in the rain.
The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre) is ocated in Stanley Park. The aquarium is a centre for marine research, conservation and marine animal rehabilitation. It's a nice place to visit. When we did in May 2013 there was a Jelly-fish exhibition. That in itself was quite fascinating.
